the white man's craving for the material world

why has the white man always had the lust for violence. It shows up everywhere- his love for game, guns and meat. I think his religion- Christianity helped him to justify it too. Christianity with its focus on the human being as the supreme of god's creation told the white man that everything - plants , animals and all of the earth's creature were created to satisfy his needs and desires! It contrasts so very much with the eastern religions- Hinduism, Buddhism and their offshoots that taught that man was just playing his small part in the grand scheme of things and encouraged harmony with other forces and elements of nature rather that destroy or annihilate them.

It takes acquired awareness through education and learning in a white man to understand the significance of conservation and living in harmony with nature. On the other hand it comes very naturally for a Hindu or a Buddhist because thats what he has always seen- that you protect and conserve whats around you because they are critical for your own survival.

Historically the white man was always on exploiting what little he had in terms of natural resources to ever evolve a harmonious relationship with nature.He was always on the search for more resources and when he did not have them near where he lived he got it from other places again by exploiting the resources and people all over the world. And when people there resisted, he used any pretext to take control over those resources and people. The Industrial revolution is a classic example of the white man's desire to exploit nature at a rate unprecedented and at which nature is unable to heal.

Now if you look at the white man's world and the other places where non- whites live you would think what I said is all wrong. It appears that it is the other way round. But considering how many white men are there and how much they use up nature's resources its very easy to figure out why nature's resources are dwindling. And they have the nerve to blame the poor populations of the world that they cannot take care of their resources, it shows their hypocrisy!!

I think it might be impossible with the white man's psyche to ever have a sustainable world and they are infecting that psyche to the rest of the world.

Somebody needs to stop them!!! For all of our sake!!

For nature's sake!!

For our planet Earth's sake!!!!!
